Immigrant families are under attack. From separating families at the border to deporting Southeast Asian refugees, the Trump Administration wants to change the fabric of the United States. We need to make clear to Congress that families are the cornerstone of American communities and help our country thrive.
Our immigrant families are no different. We, too, have grandparents, aunts, and uncles with whom we want to celebrate good times and support during hard times. But it is hard. While most Asians come to the United States through family sponsorship, a significant portion of would-be immigrants are waiting decades just to have a chance to be reunited with family. Out of the five countries with the longest backlogs for visas, four are in Asia.
Our families buy homes and start businesses that create jobs. Our families include caretakers, who are predominantly women and who often do unpaid and undervalued work. Our family members step in to provide support in times of personal and economic hardship. Our families matter.
Stand up for immigrants and their families. Stand up for family unification.
Please join us in telling Congress to value our families by adding your nam.

Millions of us - our aunts, uncles, parents, and grandparents - have come to the United States through family immigration, so we know what’s at stake when the Trump administration threatens to end this system.
Thank you for standing with families. Don't forget to share this pledge with your networks.
